LIANZA Conference 2009

Kia ora. LIANZA Conference is not just on the horizon, it’s galloping into view. Monday 12 October 2009 is the official powhiri and kick off for this annual event – and this year it’s our fair city of Christchurch that plays host(ess).

If you want to scout out what’s on you can also visit the Conference blog where there is a plethora of Conference related posts.

Keep an eye on this blog too, as colleagues will be giving you impressions of the sessions and keynote speakers.

And even if you are not attending Conference, you can join in the librarians social event of 09 – Conference dinner at SOL Square.

You might also like to peruse the finalists in the 3M Award for ‘Innovation in Libraries’ to see some of the stellar work being done in New Zealand libraries and listen to keynote speaker Richard Stallman sparring with Kim Hill on National Radio last weekend.
